DNSreport Test Summary

Each test returns a status of PASS, FAIL, WARN, or INFO along with a description of the particular test result. These tests fall into six categories, as listed below.

• Parent Tests
  Tests run against the parent servers associated with the domain.
  
  
• Name Server Tests
  Tests run against the name servers associated with the domain.
  
  
• Start of Authority (SOA) Tests
  Tests related to the Start of Authority for your domain.
  
  
• Mail Exchanger (MX) Tests
  Tests related to the mail exchanger (MX) records for the domain.
  
  
• Mail Tests
  Tests related to communication with the mail servers associated with this domain. These tests will help identify mail delivery problems for your domain.
